Chelsea is the Neurofeedback Manager at Cognitive Solutions Learning Center as well as a Neuro Counselor and Psychotherapist. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a B.S in Psychology and Neuroscience and went on to complete her M.A at Loyola in Community Counseling. As the Neurofeedback Manager, Chelsea oversees all client treatment protocols and collaborates with neurofeedback clinicians and technicians to ensure that our clients are constantly advancing in their treatment goals. Additionally, she has experience as a technician working and interacting with children and adults experiencing a variety of mental disorders including ADHD, anxiety, and depression, as well as traumatic brain injuries and sleep issues. Chelsea also offers neuro counseling sessions as an additional benefit for the neurofeedback clients to explore their treatment plans and goals by using solution-focused and strengths-based approaches.
As a Psychotherapist, Chelsea believes all humans deserve a healing space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment so they can gain confidence, love the skin they are in, and create a growth mindset that makes healthy change. Her approach is collaborative, multicultural, and holistic. She incorporates ACT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy to help clients through adversity. Chelsea is equipped to work predominantly with children, adolescents, people of color, as well as the LGBTQ+ community. Her therapeutic work centers around individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem/body image issues, trauma, life transitions, and cultural issues.
Chelsea is on the path to becoming a Board Certified Neurofeedback Clinician with LPC licensure.
